Well after a few years I can say I’m almost done. Waited for new Strange Axels (then had to wait some more, sent under sized bearings, that’s all fixed now) So new axels going in tomorrow, will try and finish interior tomorrow as well, then she goes into paint. Will post some more pics when she’s back on all 4.

Has anyone put fiberglass doors on there Mav? If so did you have problems put the window tracks back in? I’m having a problem to find that just right fit, when doors were made; the guy made then apx 1" smaller on then inside, from front to back. I cut the window track to accommodate but still not working. Anyone have any advise before I scrap the glass and go with Lexan and Dzus Fasteners...

I, personally, do not know of anyone who has glass doors. As light as FordMan's (Ivey) Maverick is, I wouldn't doubt that his are fiberglass.

Congrats on the progress. Let us know how little that thing weighs once it's done. And of course, we'll need to know your 60', 1/8 and 1/4 mile times when you're done. (y)

I think the one manufacturer I saw with glass doors said they were for use with lexan windows onlydue to the lack of support in the structure of the door.
    Lookin great by the way.

Axels in now "back to rear wheel drive"! Thanks for the info on my window problem. I will come up with something next week, before paint. Here are a few more pics of the Mav. When all done will weight then going to track, and will post weight and times / MPH.
