http://mustangii.net/axle_ratio.asp here is a site that todd found. i am assuming that these will go into a mav rear? various codes from mustang II various ratios and some even with lock! if this is a good thing, lemme know. if it won't work, lemme know. cant wait to go junkin now!
Just so I'll know.... Where do I look to find these rear end codes? That would really help me. Thanks, Preston
The codes are usually on the door data plate. I dont know if they are specifically for the mustang ll but I would guess they are probably the same on all Fords for the period.
I took this list to the yard with me today and saw a wrecked mustang II sitting there. Crawled under looked at the ID tag on the rear and saw WFK-G! 3.55 trac lok! woo hoo. also they just got a granada in that until a month ago was inspected. getting the disk brake set up off of that. going back monday to pull everything. best part about it is the guy said less than a $100 bucks for everything. I just had to share my joy with somebody.
Preston, You can find these codes on the tag bolted to the pumpkin. Or go back to MustangII. net and click on door codes and then just open the doors on the II's you find and check the axle codes on the door against your list and turn the wheel/drum/axle and watch the other side to see which way it turns, same=posi, different or not at all=open.
Thanks ya'll, I'm still learning everything that I can, and I appreciate any advice that ya'll can give me. Thanks, Preston
