So true Lonnie so true... painters never hit their mark. I paint and never hit the mark. I always tell people that the car will be done when it is done, and no quicker. If a painter gives you a date he will be done then that is a lie. We missed ya Lonnie.

I'll second that...it's Monday night and we just got back, I wanna say what a great time we had and what a GREAT group of people this club has in it.:yup:
I got some pics to put up in the gallery....and a particular VIDEO at the drags that Dennis may or may not want to see:49: ...what's great about is not the result, it is the little story leading up to the race (y)
Here's a pic from my truck of Ray Parrish's car...we caravaned home for awhile.

Looks like an awesome time. I wish it wasn't so far away. I would love to come to a roundup. And racing is the bestest time of all....

Ya Know, All You Left Coasters Could Make A Move To The East Alittle And Be Closer To The Action, We Have Jobs And Paved Roads And Real Indoor Plumbing Just Like You Do, If All Of Ya'' Would Get Closer Then I'm Sure We Could Hit The 100 Car Mark Or More, Maybe A Guiness Record For The Most Mavericks/comets In One Area(remember They Are Fords Forgetten Hot Rods). If You Look At The Post, That Never Seems To End, About How Many Mavs And Comets There Are From All These People Then We Should Have A Roundup Of About 500 Cars!!!!! We Would Need To Rent An Entire City Not Just A Hotel!! Give It A Thought Will Ya And Come On Over!!!if This Year Was One Of The Best Then Next Year Should Be A Humdinger!! See Ya! Wayne

No, I let him win in the semi final so he wouldn't pout the rest of the weekend. He was the host so I gave him a break. I would have dusted him if I knew I wasn't going to get a ride in his car. Next year The Spookster will take no prisoners!!!!
