Hello everyone, Im looking for a Maverick for my daughter, I thought this might be a good place to start. My first car was a 1973 maverick, three-in-the-tree, that was around 1984. My husband had a 1971 maverick in 1971, and my stepson also had a maverick, I think a 1973, in 1998. So you see, I really have no choice but to get her a maverick, plus she really wants one. E-bay is kind of scary but Im checking that out as well. Any leads would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. Wendy
wendy, welcome to the board... we will see what we can do. what all do you want on it? a/c pb, ps, 6 or v8. auto...just a few choices...frank...
Welcome to the board, Wendy. You truely do come from a Maverick family. Besides eBay, this would be most logical place to find your daughter a Maverick. Check out the ' Cars for sale ' section of the forums to see whats there.
Hello All, AC is important but the over all condition does not have to be pristine. Can you get seat belts installed? Do you all trust ebay? I dont like info such as pulls a little, the smell of gas etc... Wendy
Best thing I can tell you is if you find something on ebay you like, but are unsure of something, post a link to the auction in the auction discussions forum and people on here can give you their opinion on it. Every 4 wheel drum brake car I have drove pulls a little to one side or the other when stopping. I think it's just something you have to get used to. If it pulls while driving, more then likely you can fix that by getting an alignment done and makeing sure it has a matching set of front tires on the car.
Welcome,,, ebay is a great tool, but with everything nowdays, it has its down side. Positive feedback on the seller is a tool I utilize. If there is a unusual percentage of negative feedback I back off. Dan

Welcome Wendy! Jerseyville, basically a St. Louisan like me. Where are you in Kansas, Dan is outside of Quincy.
