Sorry for the poor quality, content, audio, etc. I was going to make a big production but I ran outta time (and patience3).

Talk about a thrill though. After 3-1/2 years of hard labor!!! It was quite the rush. :drink:

looks great! Stance is nice, as is the color. What type of setup do you have in the motor, and suspension? How fast do you plan on going? How was the EFT swap?

    Tell, tell, tell....
    thanks!

Thank you all for your supporting comments.

The motor is a 347 c.i. AFR 185 Heads, H-Beam Rods, Forged crank, SRP Pistons, Holley Systemax II Intake, Nitrous Express (up to 300 shot - which I will never do). As far as the h.p./torque values, I don't know what the output is yet. I'll be taking it to a Dyno soon and have an "A/B/C" tune ("Motor"/"Nitrous"/"Override"). The amount of Nitrous I throw at will be determined by how much h.p. the motor alone puts out. The block is the weakest link - some say 500 hp. repeateadly, others say 600 - all very debateable). I will stay around the 500 h.p. zone as I want this to motor to last a while. I'm more interested in consistancy than seeing how fast I can get it to go.

The rear suspension is a 9" from a '71 Econoline van. The gears are 4.11's. The tranny is a C4 with a Trans-G0 Transbrake (Hurst Quarter Stick shifter). 4" Aluminum drive shaft w/1350 Series U-joints (front and rear). Cal-Tracs, QA1 Adjustable rear shocks.

The switch to EFI was a major PITA - for me. I have limited experience with the MASS Air /EEC, etc. so there was a huge learning curve involved. Also, if it weren't for some friends, the thing might be carbereurated right now. But the whole thing of "Mavericks" by definition, tend to stray from the crowds, so there you go - being different kept me going EFI.

I'm expecting my 1/8 times to be high 6's (6.7ish on Nitrous - maybe better).

Thanks for everyone's help on this board who helped me get it as far as it is right now! (y)

Ha! I knew someone would bust me on 'the lope'. That was the computer deciphering input to figure out the right mixture. Come to find out, we had the MASS Air Meter unplugged!
    :rofl2:

After it was plugged in and a vacuum line pluged, the engine is back to instant throttle response and zings like most internal balanced engines do.

    RE: CAM
Of all the things to not know and to lose, I lost my CAM spec card (I know, and I am ashamed). It's a custom grind that is NOT spec'd for the car's set up now. It's not even as radical as Fords 'X' cam. I suppose that will be the first thing I'll change.
