Door Hinge Pin advise

    Hey guys what is the best way to flare the end of the Door Hinge Pin after I replace the Brass Bushings?

    I'd used a torch to get it cherry red then use a big center punch to flair it out.

    That is exactly the way I have done it all my life. Dunno if there is another way.

    a 7/16 bolt with nut works but this is a drag car you may not want to do this but it,s nice to just pop them out drop the door off to work inside

    i have never "flared" any. i just seat the pin in the hinge with a hammer and let it ride. ...frank...:bouncy:
