one night when i was going to a cruise in at sonic i pulled up to a 4 way stop and my 302 maverick with a holley 600 just died it didnt evn sputter. after we pushed to the curb we looked under the hood and the carb was leaking gas out of the rear pass. side venturi and out the vacuum secondary pump. after we let it set for15 min it stopped dripping and it finally cranked up after 5 tries when it always craks up the first time. what could cause that to happen?

    (y) That would be my first guess. Second would be a sunk float, but I'd start with the first one.

Make sure you have a good fuel filter on it or it will happen often....
