    If I'm looking at it right, and that's rust in the 3rd pic... You may want to do something about that if you plan on keeping that car for a while longer. The roofs on these cars are part of the structure of the car, and rust like that would scare me.

    To be honest, rust like that would spell parts car to me. I have no idea how you would go about repairing that.

    You're right Jamie, unfortunately. And that picture is 5 years old, it is even worser there are also rusts in doors,fender, bumper. Now the car is having "kaporta boya" (kaporta=head or body and boya=paint when translated into english I guess) . They are painting it and hopefully they will take the rust away. I actually do not know how they do that but I will post new pictures of it when it is done..

    Throughout the years I remember, comet has a lot of engine problems, such as overheating(it was a loong story), stalling, even not starting. So we actually struggled with them, not the exterior or interior of the car. And my father is not a car enthusiast so he rather worked on his job rather than troubling about the car. These are some reasons why the car is in this condition right now.
