just wanted to what up, i've been a member for while now but never got around to sayin hello( how rude of me) but anyhow , ive got a 73 maverick that i picked up last yr for 400 bucks with a tired 302. took out the tired engine and bought an 89 lincoln with a good 5.0 and aod for 300 buck( it was wrecked from the front end almost undriveable but i still drove it home from st pete to tampa and took out the drivetrain complete, dumping the lincoln and dropping it into the maverick. had to do a little mods to it to make it fit right but got to fit. right now i'm inthe process of converting to carb setup. and cant wait to see just what kind of 1/4 mile time i get out of it. changin to E7 heads, electronic ignition, and just a tad bit of nitrous. hoping for 15's. then after i destroy that combo, some fabrication will be done to put a nice 390 FE big block that i have built up.
