Disc = pads Drums = shoes I am wary of brake systems that seem to start working OK without an explanation. I would definitely go through the entire system to make sure everything is in order. Brakes are the last place you want to take shortcuts.
Everything in the brake system has been replaced except the steel lines that go to the front wheels. Not much to go through. My grandpa said it sounds to him like air got in the system somehow. Said the noise was probably air being displaced in the wheel cylinders by brake fluid. I think he was right because after bleeding them one more time some air bubbles did come out of the drivers side front cylinder. I am not overly worried about it. The BRAKES light went out after bleeding them and they are now working better then they ever have the entire time I have had the car. We have a Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Advance Auto, and O'reilys here. They all have dumb a$$es working there.
They wont pay the knowledgable! Love that BRAKES light did it come on right before the pedal hit the floor or after it did?
It came on the second I pulled out of my driveway and the brakes felt spoungy. It went off when I let off the brakes and then came back on again when they went clunk and stayed on till after I bled them.
