    Hello, I am a new member. I have owned my 1971 Mercury Comet for about a year now. It is a factory 302, automatic, 2 door. I have been gathering ideas and parts since purchase. I am just getting started on it now and am hoping to have it ready in two years from now. It will have the factory 302, AOD trans,9" rear and hopefully A/C. I have looked at a lot of the pictures posted on this site,there are a lot of very nice Mavericks and Comets for inspiration. Paul

    I will have some pictures soon. The car is being mini-tubbed, I will be taking pictures of this change. It still won't be much to look at yet as there is a lot of cosmetic and mechanical work to be done. Thanks for your interest. Paul
