I'd like to start off with a big HELLO!!! to all my fellow Blueblood brothers and sisters. As a former '72 V8 Grabber owner that was deprived of my car several years ago, by a person who failed to see the need to stop at a Red light and continued right on through at 50MPH, I must say that I'm pleased to have a Maverick in my stable once again. I recently acquired a '72 V8 C4 Olympic Sprint Special and am looking forward to saddling her up in the near future. I will post some pics soon. Thanks for providing such a great site. Take care, Mark
Howdy, I had some problems getting my pics small enough to post, but I finally figured out my camera's software so I should get them up this evening after I grab a quick bite to eat.
Nope! Mine has a 200 cu in... His has the 302 cu in. He picked it up in Oregon. I wish it were mine. Do you want to sell it Mark? I'm looking for another Sprint. I told him you'd want the info, for the Sprint Registery...
No, this car was found down in Oregon. It had traded hands from the original owner to a body shop, where it sat out back waiting to be restored. Then I came along looking for Torino parts at the junkyard next door and the owner of the body shop happened to be there and followed me out the door and asked if I'd be interested in some kind of special edition Maverick. I followed him next door and found a remarkably straight and rust-free Sprint, so a deal was struck. Mark
