i was wondering what a good site would be to get a set of roller rocker. i'm not looking for the most expensive ones but a good set to up grade from my stock rocker arms. i figure i might as well do it because who ever owned my 302 before me put the wrond lock nuts on the studs. this just gives me an excuse to do an upgrade.

I had the proform pedestal mount type in my truck and didn't have any problems. I had them on stock heads with a Proformer cam. I ran them a little over a year. I have sence changes to superflow heads that use stud type.

I am not a fan of PRO-FORM. But I ran them in a 7,300 rpm motor for about 3 year and only broke 2 of them :D . Unfortunately the first time was during the burnout of the 1/4 finals of the bracket nationals

Since you're looking for inexpensive ones, I reccomend the Comp Cams magnum roller tip rockers. They are not full roller, just the tips, but are stronger than the stock rockers and promote less valve-stem tip wear...

Crane makes a good full roller for not much more than the roller tips. You can also get scorpions for a reasonable price. You won't get much performance improvement.

I have harland sharp on the 77, cant recall the price, but at the time I think they were right in line with most others? theyve held up better than a set of pushrods and a few lifters....just think of pretzels:huh: ...no harm to the rockers though:D
