it is now winter time and my heater core is busted. i think i am going to be mr. toughguy and not worry about heat. i quickly found out that it is hard to drive when you have fog all over your windshield. so i roll down the window. that helps the fog but now im freezing my butt off. so i decide to replace the heater core. well after working on it all day i finally get the core and box back in the car. once i crank it up antifreeze begins to come out below the car. thinking that the core is blown again i take everything back out and the core is fine. i put it back in and the same thing happens. so i take it back out and my mind is going haywire:confused: . i put it back in the car and this time i tightend the clamp with a socket wrench instead of a screwdriver and it didnt leak a drop. all that work for some loose clamps. lets just say i have learned my lesson.
