I couldn"t find any Maverick related stuff in that link? So don't know. If ur referring to a retro styled Mav; then all I can say is theres not may of them that I care for and if there was a Mav, It would probably be more of the same. Sorry Guys. Jan
Here is what the site says and the pickture of it: Ford Maverick 3.0 V6 4x4 5 dr, £20995 Ford Roadtests this is Ford's entry into the compact 4x4 market to compete with the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 included. The Maverick offers the unusual choice of a 3.0V6 auto to run alongside the 2.0; a direct-injection common rail TD follows. The big plus about the Maverick is the way it drives, being remarkably stable and roll-free on fast corners, with sharp power steering. The V6, auto only, has 200bhp and is consequently very quick indeed, though it is a pity that the auto is only 4-speed and has an awful column-mounted shift. The ride is firm but a good compromise, with wind and engine noise in the V6 usually commendably low. But inside it's a disappointment with unremittingly low-rent plastic, plus, in the V6, leather that looks like vinyl. The front seats are comfortable but lack much in the way of sideways support, a pity because the Maverick encourages a sporty approach to driving. Rear room and boot space are both good.
I bet that this mav is just a European Escape, looks just like one and the hood lines are even the same.
The "original" Maverick SUV was a joint venture between Ford and Nissan. The current Maverick seems to be a rebaged Escape, according to this article http://www.tiscali.co.uk/motoring/roadtests/roadtest_329_1.html A few years ago, on April 1, I replaced the mmb with a Ford Maverick SUV page! That generated a few e-mails!
