Ok so i have just about exhausted every parts store in town and i keep getting the same answer,Maverick 302 engine mounts are absolete! Is this just because i live in Canada that i can't get these,or has anyone bought any LATELY in the U.S. My local NAPA store called five different suppliers and got the same response. Any help from you guys would be great.I'm getting to the point of firing up the welder and building some solid ones just so i can get this project moving. Thanks Derek.

    engine mounts:

I had a pair I had listed on the classifieds not long ago. They did not generate any interest, so I Ebay'd them....then I get 4 or 5 emails and PM's, wondering if I still had them. Now the question of the day....If I had plans to sell them on Ebay, why did I list them here? Because....rather than GIVE them away on Ebay, I thought someone on here could actually use them; hence the reason I advertised them here first. The funds I would have gotten would help pay for my Maverick's upgrades. I had the same issue with a set of 302 frame mounts. BTW, they sold for less than $10 for the pair.

There was a thread about this not too long ago. It was locked.

I will look out in the shed to see if I still have a pair. I had 2 pairs at one time (I think...), sold one set on Ebay. I got them from a swap meet; one pair was new(er). If I still have them, I'll let ya know.

I can get them new here for something like $12 - $15 a piece. Hell I just recently bought new mounts for my '68 F100. Strange that you can't get them up there.

Derek , Try asking for just "302 motor mounts"....You know the measurements you need if you're gonna make some solids.....A lot of places hear "Maverick" and then they go bananas......

    Scotty

i'm about 15 minutes from the buffalo boarder so driving over to the uU.S is no problem for me.I think Partsamerica supplies a few of the U.S stores ]autozone etc..] Also the headman headers you have are they pn 500-88300,i seen these in Jeg's they are 1 5/8 primary tubes just wondering because these are the ones i was looking at. Derek.
