Sence my original post was locked........... :D .....I will have to agree with RADMAV that it doesn't match the overall style of the car. Not that I couldn't do it, I would have to say that I'm one of the few that could pull this kind of mod off..............toot toot :D

My plan was to buy a reproduction mustang hood cut the center section out and adding it to the middle of a stock maverick hood. maybe pie cutting the mustang center so the raised portion would angle slightly tward the center at the front edge. I would also buy the reproduction inserts. All very easy :D but time consuming and kind of expensive gamble that may not match this car.

That was pretty funny Rick,, back to subject, I think those scoops would work on your car Thom, if you put them back further than they are on a stang. Not waaaaaaaaay back but just a couple inches.

I think if you did it, it would work. I'm sure there's some talent there that could blend it in nicely :D.

The Mach hood is bulged up pretty good, it might be high enough to blend with our cowl bulge.
It might be wider, by my vision, but my eyeball-ruler has been off many times in the past!
If it is wider, I guess a piece could be sectioned out to narrow it to the proper width.

Personally, I think it could be done very nicely, but I am not the man for it, I hate body work... So go for it Hack!!! ;)

I agree about the loose nut remark, but also threads get locked for breaking the rules or coming afoul of the random threadlock generator. This is what Lance, Stefan, and I have to abide by. Now you know our horrible secret So cut the Administrative and Moderation staff a break would ya?

    Edit:
Directed to the entire board, not Rick.
We're all here together. Think Woodstock.
