I am just sitting around and I remembered that someone had once brought up the idea about having a mini-meet in S. Cali but I never heard anything else about it. What's going on if anything? It's kinda hot now but it would still be great to see everyone's mavs. jeri
I understood that they were suggesting about making a show in San Diego a Mini-Meet because they had a specific Maverick class. I think it was Maverickman who brought it up. I think that show is in August.
Maverick man, theres two of us. it's my fault because I joined a couple weeks ago and didnt check to see if there already was one. I might change the name if people get too confused. I chose the name because everytime the song "magic man" comes on the radio, my girlfriend starts singing it as maverickman. But I really am a maverickman anyway, I wish there could be a meet near me, I dont think anyone else lives in michigan though (must be too cold for them)
Most people would say there are all kinds of meets near you in Michigan. Norwalk, Ohio meet as well as the Round-Up Nationals in Indiana. Can't get much closer than that!!
I know I know. I shouldnt be lazy. Thats way closer than other poeple. I guess I'm just scared to drive her long distances. I had a fire two years ago and I've never been the same since. I will make it to the roundup but it might not be this year. My Audi would make it no problem, but I'd be a friggin idiot to drive an Audi to a maverick meet. you guys would probably throw things at me
I think it would be a good idea to at least changing your name slightly, like MaverickMav72 or something similar. Let me know if you wish to do this, and ill change your name.

Nah the one i was talking about was in La Palma / So Cal. Its called 34th Annual All Ford Picnic and will be at La Palma Park. Its' Sunday, Oct 5th - Time: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm They have a Maverick Class. You can call 714-538-3957 for infomation. There is no pre-reistation. Hope you all can make it. It would be nice to know whos comming though
I'm still counting on making it. I am knee deep in the maverick now, so if it is not ready by oct then I am a complete slacker
if anyone is out in the local 909 - 562 or 626 area in and out burger in covina south of the 210 fwy has there thrusday cruise night. i might head out there today. if anyone wants to come by there is a good chance i'll be out there.
