Sadly since NO referrals for a Maverick came through, through here, yes all replies stopped......I have been watching and hopeing, So I guess I have no other choice but to contact that used car lot after all However there too I am coming to find out that when a car is advertised WITH NO PRICE then the seller wants .........more than I can afford. This maverick is just sitting there in the lot NOTHING on any window so the price must be up there also .........I MEANT NO OFFENSE folks!!
six cyl. , i don't think your going to get much for a couple of hundred bucks on here. most people here know the value of these cars even to part them out. your best bet, i think, is to watch the classified in the local papers, or if you see one sitting in a yard to go up and ask if it's for sale. this site dosen't worry about where you live. we're all together because of the common bond of liking the comets and maverick cars. if you went to montclair state, then i used to live on grove street, just down from the college. my dad was the caretaker of the cemetary there, and that's where i lived until he passed away. good luck.
I guess he's refering to this thread. http://www.mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=20854 I'm not sure what you want though. Your just not going to find a really nice car, really cheap. Unless its totally restored, it will need work. A restored car is big money and a fixer upper is going to cost money. More money unless you can do the work yourself. Good luck.
Don, "my dad was the caretaker of the cemetary there, and that's where i lived" didn't have many "sleep overs" at your house did ya? ...frank...
Depending on which car your looking at, there are a couple in the for sale section that would probably be capable of being daily drivers as is, saving the expense of the repairs the one at the dealership will most likely need. either way, good luck with the mav purchase
Don Graham, and Mavaholic understood JUST THIS COURTESY FOR NOW: In addition to hunting for an older vehicle with a small 6 cyl. engine.....uhm....well I am also working on arrangements for a death in my family so must go get busy and loose more sleep! will post more expalnation when more awake!

Sierra grabber mentioned a used car section here at the forums. I clickd onto ..............where i saw new/used cars and got car deals??? Is that what is meant???
