    Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel!!

Ok, so there wasnt actually the car on there, but they did show the maverick emblem, among others.

The episode that it was on was one where theywere testing the myth that somebody put a JADA rocket on a 68 Impala and had a brake failure, ended up in the side of a mountain!

Not sure if anyone else saw this.... or if anyone cares!

I saw it. They were going through a lot of emblems, but at least we got a glimpse!

    What does “JATO” stand for?
“JATO” means Jet Assisted Take Off and is used by the Lockheed-Martin C-130 to clear short runways and gain high altitude in a short period of time such as might be necessary in combat situations.

    Good job Tom!
I was going to put what the acronym stood for, but then i couldnt think of it at that time! They also sometimes use RATO's which are Rocket Assisted Take Offs

In case anyones interested, here is the story about the rocket car.Great reading even if it isn't true.
GOOGLE rocket car (tried to link but didn't work)
Laughed my butt off just imagining these characters doing such a crazy thing. Some urban legends are just great stories.
