Well, the ol 72 just got one step further. I finally got off my lazy butt and finished yanking the 5.0 from my 86 mustang parts car. I was intimidated because I had never done something like that before. Of course it was easier than I thought. Even though no work has been done on the mav yet, I can now get rid of my parts car. I am going to start pulling the old 302 that is in my mav right now, is someone is interested in it, I will probably let it go for $150 or so, had rebuilt heads with new intake valves, and new lifters a few years back with almost no miles on it, but never got full compression on 7 and 8 after I put it backed together, and didn't feel like messing with it. Anyhow, I will post the pics of me lifting the engine later, and will soon have a whole new barrage of questions to ask this fantastic board!
