    Down side

I bought this car like it was new... i get it, and of course i get careless and now ive got dents, scrapes etc. Still shiny anyway. My oil pan plug is stripped. Anybody have an idea what that will cost to get the sleeve re-threaded and fitted with a new plug on the pan?. The last temp plug is pretty leaky.... only major prob existing now, though fuel line looks pretty corroded too. Paid $3500 for it in 2k... not too keen or too wealthy to spend alot and im not allowed to work on it in my apt garage... damn those fascists!!

How perfect does my Mav need to be?Its really only a grocery getter, and its 98% original with about 40k miles. Sounds like a blast.

Only has to be the way YOU want it.. perfect costs a ton of MONEY.. Mine is far from perfect and as you meet people in this club ,you will start to understand that we all love the cars no matter what condition the car is in.. that is 1 reason why I joined this club..No one here that I have met in 3 yrs has their nose a way up in the sky.. just enjoy the car and have FUN .. TTFN Ron(y)

I have my nose in the sky everytime I see you Ron......so I can see you Ron :evilsmile

Seriously, I agree with what Ron said...it needs to be as perfect as you want it to be...nothing more, nothing less. We(most of us) like all of them....from perfect to PINKY. (y)

    I've had a few
    :Welcome:

Mine has been called a Nova, Camaro, Mustang, Pinto, Vega, you name it, multiple times. Most kids around my age just think it's a Mustang. In the almost year I have been driving Mavericks daily, I have yet to hear anything negative about them. In the last week and a half I have had 8 people say something to me about the car while sitting in traffic, getting gas, or whatever, all positive.
