The Southern Cruisers kicked off their car show season yesterday with a show at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Locust Grove, Ga. Summit Racing sponsors the events now, and there were lots of really nice door prizes. There were about 400 cars there, and some were really nice. Here are some pics, for your entertainment. Pay special attn. to the Falcon.:)

does it run or is it a trailer queen. we had a 64 ranchero at the tanger show out here with a big blown motor in it. i asked him what it did in the 1/4 and he said he didn't know and his wife would kill him if he tried it. :)

Don; it runs fine! He had it fired up quite a bit. It was sitting on slicks, and they were a bit worn down, so I guess he races it. Very impractical street car, although it was listed as a Pro-Street car. Beautiful car! Paint was flawless, and the cage and interior was all powder coated. Engine was a blown, tunnel-rammed 514. Quite a rig!

Did you happen to take a picture of the Red truck next to the Chevy?
I'd liked to see that :)

Don; no, that is all the pics I took. Next month, I'll get more, and be sure to get one of the truck. I think it is a Chevy, but not sure.

Earl, from the what I can see it's a 48-50 Ford. Only reason I am interested
is I used to own a '48 back when I was in school. Loved that truck. Sold
it like an idiot and the guy who bought it let it sit for years and I couldn't
buy it back....his wife said he was attached to it. If you happen to see it
again, take a few for me....Ford or not :)
