Hey Iowa Dudes, have any of you thought about having an Iowa Mini Meet? Anyone know how we go about it. Is this best held in conjunction with another event? I know there is the Rod and Custom Nationals I think usually in July, but I think the newer Mavs/Comets would be ruled out. Any Ideas, Craig how would we go about getting this set up, Seems a prelim post to see who'd be interested might be good.

been there, done that....didnt you step up to be the new state rep? thought you were considering it a while ago? but , yeah, we used to have them pretty frequently.

that show limits to 72 no exceptions, but its a Great event! definitly worth the drive.

until I get the 72 done, I dont have anything but our daily drivers (05 stang and magnum) time for the others to reply :D

nick, saw the pict of your car.. before .. I remembered reading the thread about the accident.

Just to let you know I was da-- lucky in highschool I used to drive in des moines like an idiot I'd do Power slide turns in a 1972 Chrysler Newport, now that was stupid and it was in town. I for one am glad you are fixing up the Mav that was wrecked, I hate seeing any mavericks or Comets die. To my way of thinking one less Mav is one less Mav for Aftermarket to make parts for. Anyway make sure you post progress on the reserrection. By the way the Black and white was very sharp looking.
