I have never seen power brakes factory installed on a maverick befor . I thaught that the only way to get power brakes on a maverick was to take it off a granda ? I gess ya learn something new every day don`t you :)

It dosen't look strange to me. My 77' Maverick came stock from the factory with power brakes. No a/c though.

Thanks everyone. If I ever get the engine bay in our 76' looking that way it will be a miracle. I will admit that I have very rarely seen many Mavericks or Comets in the boneyards with the power steering setup. We were thinking about picking up an extra booster to have as a spare for my 77'. My husband was thinking of converting the 76' to power steering as well, though I don't see the point in it myself. The 76' handles just fine with the manual steering.

Opps! That was suppost to say we don't see too many power BRAKE setups for our cars in the boneyards. Don't mind me. My brain is going 100mph today. Too many things to do, and not enough time to do it all.

Actually Scott, there were a couple of them in Klingers that Dale was wishing he had gotten when we were last time. If memory serves correct, there was one in a Maverick down near the 'sheep shed'. If you are in the area again sometime and pick one up, I'll be glad to buy it off you. Since Dale hurt his back, it's unlikely we'll be getting out there any time soon.
