Ditto Craig. Since I bought a Maverick back in 2000 you have always been there with great advice on anything Maverick related. Also, I appreciate your dedication and leadership; the MCCI is much better for it. I just finished a 2 year term as president of a local professional organization and can attest to the huge amount of time that goes into "making things happen." Round-Ups don't just happen, someone (Craig) is there in the background getting dragstrip time, hotel deals, tours, and on and on. Thanks man. Tom p.s. You sold me a great car too!! Motor goes in next week.
I wanted to thank all of you for your kind words and support. You will never know how much this all means to me. It is nice to know that a hard decision wasn't made any harder since all of your are very supportive of me and of the MCCI. Don't be mistaken and think that the MCCI has started to go down hill, or that the club has lost what it had. That could not be farther from the truth. The MCCI has more members now that we have ever had!!! There is no current state of disruption. The MCCI will go on. We need more members to step up and do things for the club, instead of just a few members doing it all...and that will happen. Some might think that the "one in charge of all the MCCI stuff is the one who chose to be, he wouldn't and still will not allow others to take part and help, and he also makes all the decisions." That is not true and anybody who is in the MCCI....or came to the Round-Up Nationals would see that just isn't true. The MCCI is a great club, with members from virtually all 50 states (including Puerto Rico)...and 4 different countries. The MCCI is not just "east coast zombies"...or west coast burn-outs...or midwest hicks.....it is made up of everybody with a common interest....a little car that Ford Motor Company decided to manufacture from April of 1969 to July of 1977. Again.....thanks to all of you for your support. It really means a lot to me. Bigger and better things are just around the corner for YOUR Maverick/Comet Club!!
