Well yeturday I recieved my second project, the wife already has big plan for her new 75 Maverick. This car is in pretty good shape considering where is came from. It has some minor rust in the quarters but that looks to be the extent of it. It is primer gray with awsome blue interior. The interior in so nice I have decided to leave it alone now I have to find a color that I like or I should say that the wife likes that will match with the blue interior that is in the car. Originally we were going with a Yellow car with black interior but that was before we ever seen the car. We got it site unseen. What an awsome ride this will be and the fun the wife and I will have getting it together :D

I want to send out a big Thanks to John F. for the car and even bringing it up to me. He is a great guy:rolleyes: Once again thanks John...............Hey after you left the wife said that you might watch out for Noah he already has a thing for older women.... He walked up to my wife with a flower and said here this is for you :D:D:D

I vote Light blue since it is going to be your wife's car. It might go really well with those wheels on it. Good luck with it!

Yep! I vote blue also. The one I like is Bright Blue Metal by Dupont (nasson) Ful-Thane,urethane,catalyst is #483-56.I think it's less the $100.00 per gallon, and the catalyst is around $30.00.

Whatever color You go with, this paint is great for the money.

We have talked about the lighter blues but my wife says they are to prissy:p I think we are going to end up going with a Darker Blue like maybe even a midnight of dark Matalic not sure yet but if you seen this interior you would understand why I don't want get rid of it. I would love to show you all some pics but I am having some trouble with my new digital camera it makes my pic way to big and the program that I have don't have anything to resize them :(

Have I ever told anyone about my best Christmas ever :D:D one year the wife and I were kinda short on money and we told each other that we were not going to get anything for each other, well I held up to my end and after opening all the presents she took me out to the garage and there sat a Rust Free Grabber hood. She is the best ( Just don't tell her I said that :D)

but my wife says they are to prissy

Guess that means she won't go with pink either. :)

Seriously, someone around here had a pink Mav, bumpers, wipers, Grabber hood, everything was pink. Hideous.

Last night I got a chance to do alittle something to the Mav. It was pretty cool actually getting to work on a Mav again and it wasn't just giving one a bath :D Well I pulled the front seat out and the carpet and to my surprise my floor pans are in excellent shape. I guess this mean that the extent of my rust is in the quarters. I even got down and looked real hard at the bottom of the doors and I seen no rust there either. Man this is great no all I have to do is save up some funds and get busy :D. I think we have decided that we are going to change the interior out as originally planed so if anyone is looking for blue interior pieces let me know and I will help you out in anyway that I can. I found a set of buckets that need to be redone so I might as well do this the way that the wife wants it, it is her car anyways.

Thanks again John this thing is going to be fun :D

i say just leave it in primer... that always says a little something. At least it does to me... if i see a Mustang or Torino in primer... i dont mess with it. More than likely what they saved on paint went into the motor :D... but thats just me.
