I was just wondering how many people here have a 4 door maverick because I keep on seeing pictures of grabbers. I was wondering if people just dislike the 4 door sedan because of its extra weight and doors.

I hate 4-doors, but if I had a clean one, I would probably drive it.

I won't waste my time on one that is not in real good condition, as they make great parts-cars...

I like the 4-doors too. I picked up my '73 Comet last fall as a parts car, but I liked it so much it became my winter beater. It will be parted out though once I get the '71 put back together and it becomes my daily driver. :drive:

most everyone here knows that i am the biggest supporter of 4 doors.( maybe a tie with elliot) i have a 71 that has a full restomod treatment done. it gets as much attention at shows as part-times yellow one. many on this board think that the 4 door was only built to hold parts for the 2 door but thankfully not all. if you look back the gapp and rousch group ran a 4 door mav instead of a 2 door because they said it had better weight transfer and launched better. if you are interested send a p.m. and i will email you some pics. i don't bash anyone for their choices and strongly appluad anyone with the kahonees to buck the trend and build something different. that is why i originally picked a mav to build.

still waiting for someone to step up and build a 4 door comet. haven't seen that yet.

Out of the 10+ Mavericks and Comets I've had, I've never had a 4-door, but I'd love a nice small bumpered V-8 one. If I could find one.....hmmm another......but maybe I should finish my Grabber first (oops sorry):yup:
