    74-77 Maverick/Comet had the same front disc brake system as 75-80 Granada/Monarch. The destinction for 74-75 Maverick is that disc brakes were optional.

    There are folks here saying that the 74 had M2 calipers and hybrid brackets.

    Of course the M2s all had 4 lugs... The lug count doesn't involve the brake calipers.

    I suppose I stand corrected.
    I just thought that if it were true, it was a point that needed mentioning.
