Hey ya'll, I'm looking for something to clean off the brown residue that comes from anti-freeze being sprayed on the engine. Any suggestions? Please keep in mind that I don't want to eat my brand new underhood paint or chrome up. Thanks, Preston

The thing i found works best is castrol super clean. make sure everything is cool and spray everything down. for the painted surfaces use a soft wheel brush to scrub everything down. use steel wool for the aluminum and a engine brush for the motor. scrub everything real good and then hose it off. then let everything dry and to finish it all off spray the compartment with tire foam. make sure you get all the hoses and just wipe the excess off of the paint. it'll shine like new then

I guess that is for a grungy engine compartment should of finished reading your post. just dilute the castrol with a little water and spray it on wipe it with a rag and then hose it off.
