Looks good......but please stop parking cars in a field, that is the worst thing you can do to the underside of a car!!

No other option. There are cars that have been sitting out there 15 years and are still fine, I'm sure a few months won't hurt the '69. It has been sitting out at Frank's house to. Car is 37 years old, I'm sure it's been parked on grass more then a few times in those 37 years.

Apparently 17G is the 17th day of July, 1969. Axel code 5 is 2.83:1 rear gear.

Yea, my brother was pretty worthless as far as helping me. Should have just left him at home. The car pulled great though. I got on the interstate and set the cruise at 65, couldn't even tell it was back there. What really gets on my nerves though, is going around I-285 pulling cars. That car dolly is almost as wide as the lane, meaning it takes a good bit of concentration to keep the wheels of the dolly in your own lane. Then these idiots like to get right up next to the dolly on either side and look at the car your pulling. :slap: If you want to look at the car, stay back behind it somewhere. Don't pull right up next to the dolly while it's bouncing along down the interstate... People have no common sense.

Lance, I'll get some pictures up tomarrow. The key is in the dash. You can see it hanging down in the pic of the interior because the package tray was out. It bolts to the package tray.

Me and my cousin's BF dropped a 200/C4 in the car yesterday. I've gotta go junkyardin' for some parts before it will be running and moving under it's own power.

Yea, we were discussing on the way to NC with the car why anyone would ever buy such a nasty color new. I guess it's the same people now days who pay stupid prices for new butt ugly Hummer's and Jeep's. :rofl2:

The color will definately be changed. ;)

That just goes to show you don't have to be a genius to be a car designer. Probably just gotta have something on the Boss :evilsmile

Ohh, I found out the other day when we dropped the motor in that apparently you can't use '70 frame mounts with '71 and up motor mounts. I guess the '70 motor mounts were wider. I'm going to have to put the frame mounts off my '76 on it next time I get a chance to go up there and mess with it.
