I need to know what spacers you are running, got a set of 04 explorer wheels and I want to run them on the mav. They are a 1/2" narrower than cobra wheels at 7 1/2". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running 16x8 Cobra R's w/0 offset. They fit fine. The rear wheels appeared to be setting to far inward so I had 3/8" spacers made. It pushed the wheel out just far enough to cosmetically look better.

Note: If your trying to fit late model wheels on your Maverick your gonna have to check the offset and or back spacing. I think 4 1/4" is as far as you can go.

    Links don't work...

There are a couple of pics of my '74 Grabber with 2005 Mustang GT wheels here: http://www.5hp.hill.cc/maverick/

They needed like inch and a half spacers to actually fit if I remember right. Bigger then I felt comfortable running. The wheels are on my dad's '95 Mustang GT now with 1/2 inch spacers on the front and 3/8 spacers on the rear. The Mustang dosen't handle nearly as good as it did with the original wheels.
