IS ANYONE ELSE RUNNING A GEAR REDUCTION STARTER ON THEIR MAV? I'VE READ THAT THE NEW MODEL 5.0's STOCK STARTER WILL BOLT UP WITH A C4 AND IS ALOT BETTER THAN THE STOCK ONE. ANYONE RUNNING A LATE MODEL STARTER ON THEIR'S OR WHAT DIRECTION DO I NEED TO GO IN?

direction? nearest junkyard or ebay. some on ebay come with the switchover wiring that works on the mav. there is minor rewiring needed since the solenoid is down on the starter and you keep the solenoid on the fender. might take 10 min to swap it. or can be done with about 3 ft of #10 wire and 2 eyelets.
