Glad to see a fellow mavericker make dreams come true for other maverickers:Handshake That's what this is all really about!!!
I have posted 4 pictures of the new headers to my gallery area. I also posted two pics of the new headers right next to the Headmen 88408 headers. http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/showimage.php?i=1965&c=8&userid=361 http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/showimage.php?i=1963&c=8&userid=361 http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/showimage.php?i=1964&c=8&userid=361 http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/showimage.php?i=1962&c=8&userid=361 Remember that the pieces pictured here are the prototypes. The production parts will not have all the nice tig welds where the tubes were pieced together. These pictures do not do them justice. Thanks, Jamie for taking the bull by the horns and making this happen. I am definitely planning on getting 2 more sets when they come available! More pictures of them in a car next week.
Ya... WHAT HE SAID!!! (I swear I recall saying this on that other thread about My Car at the paint shop.... Guess that means Lance is always right)
Any update on these? I hate to be a pain, but my wallet has burned a hole in four pairs of pants now... (Question answered, Thanks!!!...keep me posted)
Do you have asbestos underwear or are you standing up more? I don't want to hear or know if there is a third choice.
Okay boys, twisted the boss's ear and this is what I came up with..... The headers will be available in ceramic coating. The price break will be given to members of this site and to members of the MCCI. Just call Nick or Sean and mention "maverick.to" and you will receive our discount. No, drawn-out group buys to wait for, just a discount . The price break is as follows.. p/n 268-1 $332.25 ceramic coated shorties. The header comes with all hardware and reducers with matching 1/2" thick flanges. The headers also come with a limited lifetime warranty. Phone number is (951) 739-5900 Ask for Nick or Sean My phone number there is (951) 371-1744 ext. 257, I can answer any technical questions you may have. Jamie Joyce
Reducers are the part that bolts to the collector. They start at 2 1/2" and "reduce" down to 2 1/4" so the muffler shop can easily adapt to the headers, no matter what size tail pipe you may have, its like a taper. The flanges on the collector are 1/2" thick, as are the reducer flanges.
Jamie, I have a factory V8 car with a manual 3-speed on the floor that I can let you borrow for however long you need it...or do you need a 3 on the tree car? I can bring it up to San Bernardino too.
