Ok, yesterday I was trying to figure out how to make BMW M3 power and today I am trying to get around corners without stalling. I have a Carter YFA on my 250. It runs great in a straight line or in mild turns, but if I hit highway clover leafs hard, yep I like to turn without slowing down, the engine lays over. But when the car straightens out it takes off again. Today I spent the day adjusting the float per my rebuild kit's dimension. (Many times), No improvement. Dry float dimension is 23/32 and the float drop adjustment is 1 1/4. I bent a piece of aluminum to allow the vent from accumlating fuel while in a hard turn. Still no change. Can someone tell me where the fuel pick up is in the carburetor? I will try to build a baffle to keep fuel around it and see if that helps. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks, Ken
Perhap's it's not a carb problem so much as it is a gas tank problem. I have also seen wires that shorted out under g forces one way or another:evilsmile Lance
Hey Lance, Gas tank problem, hmmmm, interesting. I know that the tank is 3/4 full. Any suggestions? I'm stumped. Thanks, Ken
