Gee, I wouldn't know anyone else that owned lots of Mavericks. I think between DAB, OkieSteve, and myself that we pretty much have the OKLA/TX Mavericks covered. Addiction? What addiction? I could quit anytime. I swear! I swear I could quit! :rofl2:

That sounds like a great idea. Lets have the next years Roundup at Rays in Mississippi. If you do, I will definitely be there. :thumbs2:

Party at Rays house. :drink: :drink: Party at Rays house. :dancingpa

Maybe then we can have more Texas cars there. Not to mention I will be on my way home to Texas to retire. Unless my kids can convince me to stay in Virginia. Gosh I hope they don't, I need to be as far away from my ex and all her drama as I can get.

do those lots eventually go back to the original owners? you could buy them and not have to worry about neighbors ever. i've been thinking about buying my whole block and putting a dome over it.

I have actually thought about buying the lots on either side of me but I keep thinking about the 9 feet of water I got during the storm. I'm ready to get the hell out of here, at least a couple miles away from the beach. That's the second hurricane that brought water into my house...don't need no more. :(

I worked down in the Pass and the Bay and whoo baby, those things got wiped out by Katrina. Frankly a lot of people I see building now I don't know why they are; some said they were there when Camille hit and rebuilt off that so don't see why they wouldn't do it after Katrina.

:16suspect You southerners are a...tough, bunch.

My sister lives over by the Bay (Waveland) and they had just moved into their newly built house a year before the storm. They were lucky like me, they got 7 feet of water in their house but the house stayed put. They had to gut it and start over from the inside and of course they lost all their contents but they didn't have much choice like so many. No flood insurance because they were told they didn't need it (not in a flood zone). They had to get an SBA loan in order to rebuild. They just moved back into their home two weeks ago and it looks as beautiful as ever. Even if they decide to sell and go elsewhere, they had to rebuild just to recoup some of their losses. The house was worth much of nothing left like it was. Since the storm, real estate has jumped up about 30-40 percent. I'm looking and houses that were around $125K before the storm has gone up to about $175K. I'm not so sure I can afford to keep living down here, especially when the insurance companies do their thing. We are expecting some major hikes in flood and wind and hail policies. They are requesting a 400% increase on the coast. :yikes: Of course they always ask more than they want because they know it will get cut back but you never know what's going to happen when the politics get involved in things...and believe me, it has.

Ray, you don't have a problem. Just a maverick for every day of the week. If the wife complains, per her on Ebay................ Oh if that works, please let me know.
