new guy looking for help

    1970 ford maverick... 6 cylinder. 200 3.3 liter .... i purchased the car and some extra parts looking to restore and drive everyday
    well i just puyrchased a 1970 ford maverick.... i am looking to restore it but i am having a hard time finding parts and such..... i am looking for new weather stripping for the doors fromt windshield and trunk... i as\lso came across a 1970 grabber hood i am looking for the 2 inserts that are on the hood ..... any help will be appriciated ...... i also have some exta parts i have gatherd....

    I'm pretty sure '70 Grabbers just had standard flat hoods. Your hood is probably from a '71 or '72. The inserts shouldn't be super hard to find. From what I have seen, there are alot of them floating around out there salvaged from rusty Grabber hoods.

    Autokrafters are about $70 each but if they leak you will rust you rear quarters and the rear of the front fenders.It's worth doing first.
