    Hi! I just bought my second Comet in my lifetime, a 1974 2 door. It is a project car, and will keep me busy all winter long I think! My first Comet I bought when I was 17, it was a '77 but got wrecked (somebody ran a red light and hit me.) Well since then, I've always wanted another Comet and it took nearly 23 years for me to do that!
    I am looking forward to learning more and also finding parts here on this site!

    Thank you all for the warm welcome, this seems like a friendly, helpful forum already! I will be posting pictures as soon as I can find where to post them. I'm sure I'll have questions as my restoration begins and continues, unfortunately I can't really start on her until late fall due to lack of time. I'd like to post a "before" pic though and I will be reading A LOT here.

    looks like a pretty straight body. very little rust showing. nice.:)

    Thank you guys, it is pretty straight but there is some rust, mainly the front floor pan......it will definitely have to be replaced.
    I might replace the front fenders as well, some rust and some bondo :16suspect This will be a labor of love, and hope to have her out cruisin' the streets by next summer. :)
