I was looking at some paperwork I have. It says "8L2305" pistons...
When I had my motor worked on by ET Automotive I told the guy I was going to be installing nitros someday, it's only been 15 yrs acording to the receipt:rolleyes: . I probiblyhave 8-10K on the engine since then. I don't know too much about pistons and I new even less back then. Was this the piston of choice or did I get pist on? I did request TRW at the time also so that part number should be a TRW number, or I hope it is anyway. Oh, in small writing it has a -30 just above the number "8L2305" [ "$215.00".

Couldn't say about the part number and what you actually have - but $215 is about the right price for entry level 302 forged pistons 15 years ago. The 030 is probably for a .030 overbore.

They are forged dished(7.4cc)top pistons. You can go to summit's online catalog and look them up under speed pro.

Just got off the phone with E.T. and they say it's a forged 9:1 piston and it's ok to use with NOS. What do you guys think? :drink:
