    Will a 302 crank work in a 351w?

    No, at least not without main bearing spacers(might would have to be custom made). Then you would need longer rods to make up for the 1/2" shorter stroke, or the pistons would be too far down in the hole.

    So its possible...but not worth it since the only thing i wanted was a verticle fuel pump bolts...

    Thats what threw me off. All W blocks are side by side.

    hmmm i thought the W's also had the verticles...guess i'll have to fab up a cover to place over the horizontal block off plate,heres a clue into my next project:evilsmile
