Heads will work, but the cam is a roller, and while it can work, you would have some other things to do to convert.
emisions If the heads are anything like the pair I pulled of my '84 GT they have holes in the back of them that an emissions "tube connects to. They will have to be plugged. We just used the tube that came off it and pinched it off so that gasses couldn't escape. Not pretty but it worked. good luck.
Although I think the 84 heads are those swirl heads they used for one year, the air injector tube goes back to the beginning of converters. Ford sells plugs for those holes, and they look a LOT better than a picnhed off tube. They are about $2 a piece.
