    Hi all,
You guys and gal's might recall I was looking at a Sprint in the St. Louis Area, well I bought it!! I will try tp post pics of it but I am electronically challenged!
I paid way to much for it and I know it but I GOT IT !!!!! I am sure I will be asking all you Sprint/Spabber owners a huge amount of Questions in the future but for now I am just going to enjoy the fact that I own it!
    Thanks

glad you got it. i just started taking mine apart. all the fenders and front are off now. most of the interior is out. i've been taking lots of photos, and bagging and marking the screws and bolts. also i've been writing everything i do in order. not that it'll go back the same way but i will have some sort of reference.:)

Jerry, was it this one from Collector Car Trader Online? If it was, I know the asking price and you got a great deal!

As long as you are happy with the car, it was a good deal no matter what the price was.

That is it. I Blew a head gasket, burned up a water pump and then trashed the Transmission before i even got out of Mo!! I replaced the Gasket and pump in a gas station parking lot. Got back on the road and the Tranny Blew. So the Cost of the whole day went up a little. (Glenn I should have listened to my own advise and had it hauled from the get go). 2350 for the car and 600 to have a rollback bring it home. Thanks for adding the pic for me I am really not good at that kind of stuff!!
I kind of feel like some one who just adopted a dog from the shelter and now it is eatting their couch. I am glad I rescued the car but WOW I have alot of work to do!
I am pretty sure I am going to keep the old 250 in her. With gas as high as it is it might be nice not to burn up so much going to a show. Also it is a rare car (wish I knew how rare) and I would hate to mess it up.
    Thanks

So you are up to $2950 for a nice looking rare Sprint..seems like a great deal to me. What do you get for 3K anymore? A set of rims for an SUV?

No my Bright Lime Grabber is enough yellow / green / Black for me. I will repaint everything back to Original. Anyone know if you can get the Red stripe tape for the sides and the Tape for the Hood? I was looking at the car last night and noticed it has a few differences from my Grabber. The master cylinder, hubs and starter solenoid are different than the Grabbers. The solenoid is round. The Sprint was made in KC and the Grabber was made in St. Thomas. Are there a lot of differences between manufacturing plants?
    Thanks

When I redid mine I just painted all the blue and used 1/4" Red pin striping tape. I can get you the correct color # in 3M if you like.
