Outstanding project car with (my opinion) one of the greatest color combos with the red interior.

Price? Wow, if that mileage is correct, if it is as solid as it looks (rust) and came from the factory with the options it has, I would say up to $5000. Start deducting from that with every little thing that is wrong with it.

So since it is a salvage title, hopefully they will be around $1500 and not realize how much we want a car like that - :yippee:

Nice looking car other then the damage looks like most of damage is above frame rails, does it look fixable.

Looks like a nice car. Looks very fixable. I would want to see if there is any rust in the usual places. If everything is solid I would say $1500- $2000

I haven't gone to see it. Wanted to decode the VIN first. And I'm not real familiar with the salvage title stuff. I guess the next step is to go crawl around and look at the Maverick "hotspots" for rust. And see if the factory stuff is still intact.

    Thanks for your help guys.

looks like a keeper to me. i agree if the mileage is correct and everything is original i'd say if you could get it for $2500-$3000 you'd get a deal. hopefully it is going lower.(y)

    Opinions....

...you asked...someone made a mistake letting the insurance company take that one. I would guess that they had regular insurance coverage if any, and not collector car insurance. Your avg. Nationwide/State Farm etc. agent probaby got a kick out of beating the owner up on this one.

Nice interior. IF you are buying it to part it out, I am interested in some
    things.

How the heck did they total a car that old? When I wrecked my Grabber, they couldn't have declared it totaled if they wanted to. Did they have full coverage on it or something?

The damage isn't THAT bad... I'll bet who ever had that car got ripped off. I think it could go anywhere between $1500 and $3000. Looks like a great car. Like the colors scheme alot, and it's a factory 302.

I'd buy that in a second, looks like a really nice car, and not so bad to fix.

I'd jump on that car in a heartbeat if the price is right. Shouldn't be too hard to fix, new quarter, tailpanel, extension and bumper and your in business....

I wouldn't be surprised if the ins co low-balled that customer....$1000.00 or so...

I'd buy that one in a heartbeat, I agree $1500-2000 would be a great price, is the car at auction or something?? The price would also depend on who else at the auction has a thing for Mavs.....

Car is located at Adesa. It's an auto auction house. You can register and bid on it online I think at adesaimpact.com. I think you have to be a dealer to bid on it. I'm going to pass you guys are more than welcome to it. I think the sell date is 9/7.

I'd love to get my hands on that one. I would say $2-3K myself. Then you can give to me when I move to Alabama and I can get it registered. :bouncy:
