He was. He was running a 460 based stroker. Been eying the 557 kit myself... a couple of turbos, some NAWS and I should be in the 2s
Ha ha. I'll tell him. Actually I sat on the tram with you on Fairfax when I worked for Car Craft as an intern a few years ago, before I owned the Smav. As for the 8s. I want to get there with stock suspension and true 10.5-inch tires eventually. Theil's car is nice but, 10.5Ws is probably the biggest tire this car will ever see.
this could be interesting. both cars in california. do i hear grudge match. i'd probably want to see that. better than pinks.:Handshake
Well on the end of the power steering control valve there is a "cap" that you can unbolt. After removing it you will see a long stud with a rubber seal at the base. I simply took a flat thick peice of sheetmetal, drilled a hole for the stud to poke through, and bolted the flat stock to the control valve housing. This eliminates the slack the valve has after you take the power steering off. I'll try to remember to take a pic tonight.
Oh hey Lonnie. You're running a blown 260?? That's pretty sweet. I bet yours will be more streetable. Yeah I hope to have the car in Chicago next year... Thinking of Xtreme Street... he he.
