The Comet has fired!!!!!

    Welp, after several years of no money, no time, lack of motivation... etc.... I get my motor all dropped into my car enough to get it fired...

    I got several issues I need to resolve, like why it wont crank w/ the key or get spark to the duraspark, etc... but it has ran.

    It busted off right after a few cranks and a squirt of gas to prime it.
    Let it run for quite a while, revved it up to about 4500 a few times and let her idle and break in a bit.
    Old motor didn't vibrate one bit, had great throttle response and never once sputtered, backfired or stumbled... Im very proud.

    Thanks to Old Guy & mavman for helping me with this car along the way... and a big thanks to Old guy's other son David (my best friend) for helping me get this car fired before he goes to Iraq.

    If I can figure out how to post a video of it I will.

    But had to share the info.
