    well i have some new pictures of my mav, with the engine in , still no headers , but i think im goin to go with hooker 6208

    I thought I'd have mine running in a week! :rofl:

    Congratulations!..... and .... were you a little timid about using the plate on the intake to lift your engine? (I know they've proven them in tests - it'd just make me leary)

    yup shaved shock towers, yup 351w, yeah i was little worried about that lift plate cause i went with tranns and endine same time and there is only 3, 3inch long welds , on each side but , im very sure its strong , yeah i dc how long it takes it feels good to stand there and look at it:dance:

    looks like a nice fit. i've never yet had a problem with lifting an engine anrd tranny with the plate. key word is YET.:)

    The plate welds is'nt what I would pucker about, it's the threads pulling out that stresses my roids...

    :slap: never thought about that, that is alot of weight on my aluminum intake, it seams like it holds damn good though
