    Theres a new dragstrip open here for street legal cars only...

    Thanks Matt for puting that pic up. I coppied it for my own use if you dont mind. There were several pics taken of the Mav and Fairlane on the front of this group. I guess this was the one that came out the best. Tuff luck for us Mav owners but huge props for the Maverick/Comet enthusiets. The statement "Our favorite low-buck ride... " will go along ways towards helping the credibility of our cars as acceptable hot rods in the community.

    With the Power tour in such a centralized location for next year, why not make an attempt to have all MCCI, CAMEO and MCG meets at Memphis and do the leg to Little Rock together. With that many of us there, there is no way they could ignore us. The Memphis location will already have the drag racing track logistics worked out as well as many other thigs which reduces the work of our meet organizers. This could be the best shot we have for a while.
