The specs you find in books (and at alignment shops) for our cars are for use with the original bias belted tires. Radials are a little different. I can tell you how I like my 70 set up for radial tires.

    Caster 1 1/2* positive
    Camber 0*
    Toe 1/16" in

Depending on your particular tires/wheels, suspension mods, you may find a different combo that you like. And have it set with the driver's weight simulated in the driver's seat/floor pan area.

70's didn't come with V8s. I swapped in the first V8 in to my car back in 1973. V8 Mavs had only been around for 2+ years then, there weren't any in the junk yards yet and you couldn't buy the frame mounts, so I used 66 Mustang motor mounts bolted directly to the frame horns with 1" spacers between the mounts and the engine block. Been running it like that for 33 years now.

Now days the frame mounts are avilable and you can get them from any factory 302 Maverick or Comet. They will work fine in your '70. There is a company that reproduces them also, but you would have to search on here as I don't remember who it was off the top of my head. The engine mounts can be bought new at any auto parts store.

Yeah, I have correct frame mounts and motor mounts sitting on the shelf. Maybe someday I'll put them in. But the Mustang mount route is cheap and easy.
