I mean no offense whatsoever, but it looks like a parts car at best to me, running or otherwise, I personally would have a hard time paying over 350 for it in the condition it appears. thats just me.

good luck with what you decide to do, and maybe you'll find someone that wants it for the price you'd like (y)

I just noticed! parts car? it's that bad?! I thought parts car are those cars that are missing alot of parts and stuff and barely some parts are usable. My car falls into that category? Or is my definition of parts car messed up?

I always thought my car was a project car...

it depends.....different people perceve things differently....there are some that would say yours is a parts car....and others would jump at the chance to own it.
Its not just parts missing....other view for rust...the amount of rust and were it is on the car.

Exactly. My definition of a parts car is one with alot of rust. I don't care what mechanical or cosmetic condition a car is in, interiors, drivetrains and suspensions can be replaced. But a rust free body is worth it's weight.

If I owned your car, it would fall under my definition of parts car and I would strip it to nothing and use the parts on my other cars. In Georgia, I can come across a Maverick for a fraction of the price with a better body. But someone up north may see your car as well worth saveing, if it is structurally solid.

If you want to get $1000 out of it, try it. The worst that can happen is it won't sell and you're no worse off then before...

Hey duster, is that 68 torino blue with minor rust, and a big 40? engine already in it? There was one for sale around here recently and was wondering if you were looking at it.

Personally, I think you will regret it later on if you sell that car, but sometimes, you just have to. I regret HAVING to sell my first fast car (I won't say what it was, but it was not a Chevy, or even an American car! but it was a fast collectors item with ONLY 285,000 miles on it).

But you never know...if I had not sold my 280Z (ooops!) I would have never had room for the Maverick.
