The accelerator cable on my 1974 Maverick, 200CI L6 broke. The little nub on the end of the cable that connects to the accelerator pedal broke off. My mechanic is having a hell of a time finding a replacement. Anybody have any ideas?

If you ca'nt find one go to a hobby shop that sales model air plane supplys and buy wheel colars the size of the cable (1/16 1/8 3/16 ) put the collar on cable and tighten the set screw for a temp fix this will get you rolling agan
